What is the Rewards Programme?
The Go Construct STEM Ambassador Rewards Programme incentivises Ambassadors with Rewards for completing activities and recording them on the STEM Learning portal.
How does it work?
Once you've completed and logged your first, second or third activity since the launch of the Rewards Programme, you can request your Lifestyle e-Voucher or gift.
When did the Rewards Programme launch?
The Go Construct STEM Ambassador Rewards Programme launched on 1 April 2026.
The programme will end once all available Rewards have been claimed, so we recommend that you order your Rewards as soon as you’ve completed and recorded your activities.
How do I join?
If you're a registered Go Construct STEM Ambassador and have opted to share your details with us, you're automatically enrolled.
If you’re a STEM Ambassador but haven’t joined the Go Construct scheme or agreed to share your contact details with us, you can update your preferences by emailing stem-ambassadors@stem.org.uk and request to be added to the Go Construct STEM Ambassador Scheme and share your contact details with us..

Who is eligible?
Anyone over 17 and a UK resident who has registered as a Go Construct STEM Ambassador.
Is there a fee?
No, it's completely free.
What is an activity?
Also known as an engagement, an activity is an event where you share knowledge about construction careers. These are just some suggestions, and you are welcome to create your own.
- Taking part in practical activities with young people in classroom settings
- Delivering talks about your role, career path and route to construction
- Presenting or taking part in a careers fair
- Delivering a STEM challenge to a youth organisation
- Supporting STEM Clubs inside or outside of a school environment
- Presentations or networking sessions with teachers and careers advisers
- Providing one-to-one mentorship to someone who is just starting out in the industry
- Supporting CV writing and mock interviews for those about to leave school
- Hosting site visits and work experience for young people, including Open Doors events
How many activities are required for a Reward?
You can claim a Reward after your first, second and third activities, within a 12-month period, after the launch of the Rewards Programme.
How do I log activities?
Log your activities on the STEM Learning portal as you usually would, and we’ll check they’re eligible before issuing any Rewards.
I’ve already completed previous activities, can these be used to collect Rewards?
No, only new activities taking place after 1 April 2026 will be eligible to receive Rewards.
How will you know when I’ve completed an activity?
Accepting an offer through the STEM Learning portal will automatically add it to your impact report, but if you’ve booked and completed an activity outside of the portal, you will need to ensure you log it within your profile.
Once your activity has been recorded, we will be able to see it, and you can request your free Reward.
What Rewards are available?
For your first activity you can claim a £5 Lifestyle e-Voucher, for your second activity you can claim a gift (worth £15), and for your third activity you can claim a £20 Lifestyle e-Voucher, redeemable with over 500 participating retailers.
How do I collect rewards?
After logging your activity, order your Reward from the Go Construct Shop. Once your order has been verified, you’ll receive your Lifestyle e-Vouchers by email within five days and your gift will be posted to you.
How long do I have to claim my Rewards?
You can only claim your first Reward after the Rewards Programme has launched. You’ll then have 12 months to complete and log the next two activities to receive the next two Rewards, however Rewards much be claimed within six months of the activity taking place.
For example:
- Your first activity takes place on 1 January 2026, you must claim your first Reward by 30 June 2026.
- Your second activity takes place on 1 April 2026, you must claim your second Reward by 30 September 2026.
- Your third activity takes place on 15 December 2026, you must claim your third Reward by 14 June 2027.
Are there any exclusions?
Yes, there are some activities that are not included in the Rewards Programme.
These include:
- Recruitment related activities, for example Discover sessions, delivered by STEM Learning and/or Delivery Partners, Go Construct Scheme, or your employer
- Enrolment related activities, for example onboarding sessions, delivered by STEM Learning and/or Delivery Partners, Go Construct Scheme, or your employer
- Induction related activities, for example training and/or CPD webinars or Cuppa and Catch Up sessions, delivered by STEM Learning and/or Delivery Partners, Go Construct Scheme, or your employer.
If you are unsure whether a particular activity will count as an engagement that is eligible to receive a Reward, please ask us and we will be happy to let you know.
How do I use my Reward?
You'll receive a Lifestyle e-Voucher email with instructions on how to redeem it with your chosen retailer. You’ll receive a gift in the post.
Can I give my Reward to someone else?
Your Reward is yours to use however you like, whether it’s for yourself or for treating someone else. However, you can’t re-sell them or use them for commercial gain.
What if I lose my Reward?
We can’t replace lost, damaged or deleted Rewards, so keep them safe.
How long do I have to use my Reward?
For Lifestyle e-Vouchers you have 24 months from the date of issue, the expiry date will be clearly displayed on your confirmation email. Individual retailers may have their own expiry dates for using the Reward, so please check their terms and conditions.
Will my details be shared?
We only share your name and email address with Motivates for the purpose of managing the Rewards Programme, and both CITB and Motivates have privacy policies in place to protect your data. See our Terms and Conditions for more detail.
How can I opt out?
Update your preferences in your profile but remember you’ll lose access to Rewards and other benefits.
