Qualifications and Training
Although no formal entry qualifications are required to become a Document Controller, it is generally recommended to achieve a minimum of four GCSEs, including maths and English, at grade C or above, or their equivalents, such as the Welsh Baccalaureate or Scottish Nationals.
Depending on the individual organisation, applicants may be required to hold higher qualifications, particularly if the documentation in question requires expertise. A degree or HND/HNC in a relevant subject, such as IT or Business Administration may be required in some circumstances.
Some employers may require both industry experience and relevant employment history, whereas others may provide training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
