Competitors will need the ability to work to tolerances of millimetres. The project will be marked for accuracy, opacity, finesse and quality. Competitors will lose marks for inaccurate measurements and poor finishing.

Marks will also be awarded for working safely and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the competition.

For the first time, we’re releasing the SkillBuild 2026 Regional Qualifier project drawings ahead of the competition. Download the project drawings here.
