Competitors will need the ability to work to tolerances of millimetres. The project will be marked for accuracy, opacity, finesse and quality. Competitors will lose marks for inaccurate measurements and poor finishing.
Marks will also be awarded for working safely and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the competition.
You won’t see the project drawing until competition day, but you can still get ready by practising and testing your skills with past projects: project drawings.
