This session aims to get students thinking about how their classroom learning on the National Grid and electrical power relates to careers within construction and the built environment sector.
The main focus of the session is a group project in which students have to work out how much electricity is needed to power more and more homes as they are built, as well as discuss how this demand can be met.
This resource is provided by our partner Construction Youth Trust.
This acitivity is aimed at KS4 students (Year 10 and 11).
This session should last around 50 minutes.
